After so many summer-like days toward the end of October, Mother Nature sent in some much cooler weather just in time for November to get underway on Friday. Third driest October allows drought to expand Much of our Friday was overcast, but clouds have since decreased and we'll be mainly clear as you head out the door early Saturday morning. Some patches of fog may be around, especially in spots that saw more rain on Halloween; the combination of light winds, clear skies, and leftover ground moisture in spots may generate this fog. Temperatures early in the morning will be around the freezing mark, so grab the coat or sweatshirt as you head out the door for any plans. Low temperatures drop down to around freezing by daybreak Saturday.Some patches of fog may develop as well by daybreak. Mostly sunny skies will be back in place on Saturday! High pressure will bring us a quiet weather day, with high temperatures on the warmer side around 60°. It will be a nice day to get outside with slightly above average air, sunshine, and light winds! Showers are possible on Monday, but any rain that does fall will be light. High temperatures will climb into the lower 70s. We'll peak in the mid-70s on Election Day, with our best rain chances coming late in the day into Tuesday night. Look for winds to also be strong on Election Day.
