FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- If you are interested in tasting something new, welcome to a month-long celebration of vegan cuisine at Fort Wayne restaurants. Friday, a party celebrating World Vegan Day at Swizzle Market, kicked off the month-long celebration of plant-based dining known as, Fort Wayne Vegan Restaurant Month. The month runs from November 1 to November 30 with 15 different restaurants offering a unique vegan menu. "We've seen a tremendous response to vegan dining in Fort Wayne over the years, and expanding from a week to a month gives our community even more opportunities to experience the incredible plant-based options our local restaurants are creating," said Heather Dahman, organizer of Vegan Fort Wayne. "This event isn't just for vegans it's for anyone who loves great food and wants to support local businesses."
