IDENTIFIED: Man dead after he was shot in the back at Fresno apartment complex

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Fresno Police Department has released the identity of the man who died following a shooting at an apartment complex in Fresno Friday.
Fresno Police say the man who died was 33-year-old Tyler Harmon.
According to police, shortly after midnight on Friday, Nov. 1, officers responded to a reported shooting victim at an apartment complex near Nees and Maroa avenues. The person calling dispatch told them that Harmon had been shot.
When officers arrived, they reported seeing bullet holes through the front door and cartridge casings in the upstairs landing. Police say they found Harmon in a bedroom, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper back. Officers and EMS attempted life-saving measures, but Harmon was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say they believe the suspect and victim knew each other. They also say they believe this is an isolated incident.
According to the police, there is some gang activity involved with the shooting. This is an ongoing investigation.
