SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The final home match for San Diego Wave FC this weekend has been relocated due to safety concerns, the club announced Friday.
The Wave was set to play Racing Louisville FC at Snapdragon Stadium at 5:30 p.m. Sunday but the match will now take place at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville.

In a statement, the club cited ongoing player and field safety concerns as reasons for the relocation.
"The safety and well-being of all players is our top priority, and the current field conditions at Snapdragon Stadium, which are the responsibility of a third party, have not met the standards required for a safe playing environment," the club said.
"A thorough review of the field was conducted and all alternative options within Southern California were exhausted; however, the league ultimately determined that moving the game to Louisville was the best solution," the Wave added.
Earlier this month, the Wave lost to Mexico's Club America in a match that drew fans' attention to the field conditions including holes, divots and sand.
According to the statement, fans who purchased tickets to the match will receive additional details.
