ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) sold their famous gold bars this morning and they sold out in a matter of hours. The APS Education Foundation sells their gold bars to raise money for various academic programs. They've been selling the treat since the 1970s, making them a nostalgic treat for kids of all ages. 2024 Foothills 10 Mile Run coming November 10 The bars went on sale Friday morning and were sold out by 1 p.m.
