PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A Petersburg roadway is shut down on Friday after a power pole was damaged in a crash. At about 4:47 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, the Petersburg Bureau of Police reported that Halifax Street is closed between Lee Avenue and Wesley Street as a power pole damaged in a crash is repaired. Dominion Energy is at the scene. Police said that, when the road reopens, an update will be provided -- but an estimate as to when that might be was not provided.
