After a record setting high temperature day Friday, cooler and more seasonable temperatures and dry weather is on tap for the weekend as High pressure resides over the Northeast. This High will also set us up for some frosty mornings both Sunday and Monday.
Clouds will be gathering throughout Monday afternoon as a warm front approaches and there is the potential for a shower or two Monday evening into early Tuesday but any precipitation that falls looks very limited. Overall the dry pattern continues next week with nothing drought-busting on the horizon. Temperatures, after cooling off over the weekend, trend upwards with mild 70+° temperatures for the middle of next week.
There will be another shower threat for Wednesday night and that will be followed by a gradual cool down back to normal again for the end of the upcoming week.
