JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The victims of a fatal Thursday crash between a car and a garbage truck have been identified by Johnston police. The driver, Devonte Parissi, 22, of Central Falls was pronounced deceased at the scene. The back seat passenger of the car, Kendell Dublin, 22, of Taunton, was pronounced deceased at Rhode Island Hospital. A 22-year-old male from Attleboro who was riding in the front passenger seat remains in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Hartford Avenue when the Toyota Corolla struck a MEGA Disposal garbage truck head-on. The accident remains under investigation.
