Drier weather to start the weekend
Nov 01, 2024
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Rain will be tapering off Friday night leading to drier weather heading into Saturday. Look for partly cloudy conditions with low to mid 80s. However it will still be humid and we won't see that change for a while.
After Saturday another trough moves closer from the west. We will be between that system and the high pressure to the east. This means that while we won't have high rain chances like the past couple of days we could still see isolated showers pop up during the afternoon starting on Sunday. That trend will continue through much of next week but overall rain chances will be low each day at 20-30%.
Temperatures will stay well above normal through the weekend and into next week with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the 60s and 70s. Right now there is no fall front on the way any time soon.
