UPDATE: Lexington man faces arraignment in teen’s shooting death

UPDATE: Jon’Tay Mattingly appeared for his arraignment via closed-circuit camera from the Fayette County Detention Center.
Mattingly entered a not guilty plea.
The judge set a preliminary hearing for November 7 at 8:30 a.m.
Mattingly’s bond is set at $1 million. If he posts bond, he will be required to have electronic monitoring, he won’t be allowed to posses firearms, and is to have no contact with the family of the victim.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A 19-year-old charged with murder in connection to the March shooting of a 17-year-old is scheduled for arraignment Friday.
Police arrested Jon’Tay Mattingly on Thursday, charging him with murder in the death of Kenlon Johnson, who was found shot on Rockaway Place.
According to investigators, Flock cameras were instrumental in identifying Mattingly as a suspect. Court records show that Mattingly’s arraignment is set for 1 p.m.
