Vigilant neighbors report suspect vehicle that fled scene of Wisconsin burglary, man arrested

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) - Vigilant neighbors in a southeastern Wisconsin neighborhood helped law enforcement find and arrest a suspect who fled the scene of a burglary on Wednesday evening.
According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, on the evening of October 30, officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 100 block of 113th Street. An off-duty deputy with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office reportedly witnessed the burglary and told officers that the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and headed north on Lake Shore Drive.
Shortly after, dispatch was told by some neighbors in the area that the suspect vehicle was indeed north on Lake Shore Drive and it was missing a tire. Officers then found the vehicle and took the suspect into custody without incident.

During the investigation, officers learned that the suspect had crashed his vehicle after fleeing the scene and was allegedly in possession of "multiple pieces of stolen property."
The suspect, a 34-year-old man from Kenosha, was taken to the Kenosha County Jail on a warrant along with charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Burglary, Operating After Revocation (OWI Related), and Bail Jumping.
Officers thanked the vigilant neighbors in a Facebook post. No other details were provided.
