After so many summer-like days toward the end of October, Mother Nature has sent in some much cooler weather just in time for November to get underway today. Grab a jacket or sweatshirt as you're heading out the door.

Overcast skies have been in place for most of the day, as a result of winds blowing over Lake Michigan.

As these winds continue to diminish this evening, look for clouds to continue decreasing as well. It will be chilly for the high school football games, with temperatures in the 40s. Brr!

With the clear skies and light winds then in place overnight, some patches of fog may develop, especially in spots that saw more Halloween rain. Overnight lows will drop down into the lower 30s, so it will be a freezing night across the area.

Mostly sunny skies will be back in place on Saturday! High pressure will bring us a quiet weather day, with high temperatures on the warmer side around 60°. It will be a nice day to get outside with fairly seasonable air, sunshine, and light winds!

Clouds will return on Sunday and there is the slight chance for a rain shower. Otherwise, look for highs to reach the mid-60s. It will be a breezy day, with occasional gusts up to 25 mph.

Showers are possible on Monday, but any rain that does fall will be light. High temperatures will climb into the lower 70s. We'll peak in the mid-70s on Election Day, with our best rain chances coming late in the day into Tuesday night.
