COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, renewing the Penny Tax is on Richland County ballots this year, and in the meantime the current Penny Tax projects are moving forward.
On Friday afternoon, Nov.1, county officials held a groundbreaking ceremony on a sidewalk project on Percival Road.
Officials say the project is completely funded by the Penny Transportation Sales Tax.
The Penny tax has been in place in Richland County since 2012.
