FLASHER, ND (KXNET) — A 19-year-old teenager from Mandan has died in a single-vehicle crash caused by icy roads one mile west of Flasher. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP), on Friday at 8:20 a.m., a 2008 Ford F150 was traveling west on Highway 21 when it lost traction due to icy road conditions. The car ran off the roadway, hit a culvert, and overturned. The driver did not survive the crash. The NDHP says the 19-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation.
