Bakersfield Fire Department hosts promotion ceremony at Station 1

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Four Bakersfield firefighters were promoted to various positions on Friday afternoon. The department announced the promotions of Nick Poulos, Elijah Trail and Zachary Priest to the role of Fire Captain, while Mark Rodriguez was promoted to Hazardous Materials Specialist. The promotion ceremony took place inside Station 1 at 2101 H Street, at 1:45 p.m.
