WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- DC Fire and EMS said one person was injured after an apartment fire in Northeast D.C. on Friday morning. New Maryland law allows children as young as 10 to be held accountable for crimes First responders said the fire was under control and confined to the first floor apartment. One person was transported to the hospital to be evaluated. Crews are checking on displacements. Fire investigators are at the scene.
