ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Thousands of customers lost power Friday morning as strong wind gusts blew across the county. According to RG&E's website, less than 1,000 customers are currently without power. The number of outages fluctuated throughout the morning, but RG&E reported there were upwards of over 3,600 customers who lost power Friday morning. A majority of those outages were in the Ogden and Webster areas. In Wayne County, RG&E reported that up to 200 customers lost power. The exact cause of those outages is unclear at this time.
