PHOTOS: Fairmount Halloween Parade brings a crowd despite the rain

A rainy Halloween is to be expected in Oregon, and it didn’t stop hundreds of costumed enthusiasts from participating in the annual Fairmount Halloween Parade.
The walk, organized by resident Alex Casebeer, begins at Fairmount Park and heads south toward the governor’s mansion, Mahonia Hall.
Gov. Tina Kotek dressed as the Tin Man this year, while her wife Aimee Kotek Wilson was Dorothy.
Kids collected candy from homes along the route.
