(KRON) -- A man who police say went into the girls' locker room at a middle school and filmed students with a mobile device has been arrested, according to the San Jose Police Department. Trevis Street, 41, was arrested on Wednesday by detectives with the SJPD Sexual Assault Investigations Unit (SAIU). On Monday at around 2:26 p.m., SJPD patrol officers responded to a report of a man trespassing on the campus of Bret Harte Middle School. The suspect, later identified as Street, allegedly entered the girls' locker room while female juvenile students were present. Alameda city councilmember denies being drunk in video outside Long Beach bar Street, police said, had a mobile device that he used to record inside of the locker room. He was confronted by onsite staff and fled. The San Jose PD SAIU conducted an investigation and canvassed the area with the assistance of patrol officers. During the investigation, Street was identified as the suspect and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. Following his arrest, Street was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for possession of child sexual abuse material and the recording of juveniles with a hidden camera in a private area, police said.
