Trenton hosts successful Trunk or Treat at Cadwalader Park (PHOTOS)

When dust settled on Cadwalader Park, thousands of Halloween celebrants had escaped a legion of ax murderers, ghosts, goblins, and cutthroats for a thrilling evening.
The 10th Annual Truck or Treat party made an inaugural visit to the famous 100-acre park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.

Unseasonably warm weather attracted crowds that packed a Parkside Ave. entrance as costumed guests filled bags with numerous Halloween treats delivered from the trunks of vehicles.
The three-hour event drew rave reviews from guests who stayed until the 8 p.m. closing.
Mayor Reed Gusciora said more than 5000 people attended the event. He credited area non-profits, the Trenton Fire, Police, and Recreation departments for the event’s success.
