When dust settled on Cadwalader Park, thousands of Halloween celebrants had escaped a legion of ax murderers, ghosts, goblins, and cutthroats for a thrilling evening. The 10th Annual Truck or Treat party made an inaugural visit to the famous 100-acre park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. The three-hour event drew rave reviews from guests who stayed until the 8 p.m. closing. Mayor Reed Gusciora said more than 5000 people attended the event.
