SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) - Election Day is on Tuesday and while many people have already voted, the majority of voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots.

Across Massachusetts, there are many contested races voters will decide.
In the US House, 1st district, Congressman Richard Neal has held the position for 34 years. This year, he is being challenged by Independent Candidate, Nadia Milleron.
"Being a representative is about doing investigation and holding hearings and using the press to highlight the issues of the district so I would do much much more than just bring money into the district," said Nadia Milleron, Independent Candidate for 1st Congressional District.
On a wider scale, Congressman Neal is rallying behind Vice President Kamala Harris in her campaigning to win the battleground states of Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
"My anticipation is that the vice president is in pretty good stead going into those three states. We call it the "blue wall," Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and that is likely to determine the outcome," said Congressman Richard Neal.
Besides the Congressional race, there are a number of other contested races across the state and in Western Massachusetts at the federal, state, and local levels.
In addition to the five ballot questions and the 1st District Congressional race, Massachusetts voters will also decide the race for President, U.S. Senate, and the 2nd District in the House of Representatives.
There are also local races, including the Hampden County Register of Deeds and the State Legislature.
Over 1.4 million Massachusetts voters have already cast their ballots and there is still time to cast your ballots early. November 1st is the final day for in-person early voting in Massachusetts and if you haven't mailed them back already, the USPS is urging voters to return their mail-in ballots as soon as possible.
