ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the death of a man near Central Ave. and Pennsylvania St. Friday morning. APD says officers responded to the area around 6:15 a.m. to reports of a man who was injured and heavily bleeding. Police say life saving measures were attempted, but the man died from his injuries. APD homicide detectives are investigating the incident. Police say the area will be closed to traffic throughout the morning. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
