City of Albuquerque looking for artists for new international district piece

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque Public Art and Urban Enhancement Division is looking to create community-generated artwork for the new park that's planned to go next to the International District Library.

They are looking for four artists to work with project partners and the community to create an empowering, expressive and meaningful piece to the International District. Each artist will be paid $3,500 for their work. Anyone interested can submit an application for the project. The deadline to apply is November 25. Artists will be selected selected by the end of December.
