TIVERTON, R.I. (WPRI) — One person was taken to the hospital after a mobile home on Fairfield Avenue in Tiverton went up in flames on Friday.
Fire Chief William Bailey said crews were met with a number of explosions and heavy fire when they arrived at the scene. There were oxygen tanks inside the home.
Bailey said the victim was able to escape on their own and has minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
