LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABCB 36 NEWS NOW) — According to the Lexington Police Department, a LexTran bus crashed into a building after it was hit by a car.
Police say the crash happened just after midnight Friday on West Main Street and North Broadway. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to officers, a car driving the wrong way down the road crashed into the bus causing it to crash into a building on Meain Street.
The drivers in both the bus and car were the only people involved in the crash, nobody else was hurt.
Lanes on both West Main Street and North Broadway were shut down for hours, but have since reopened.
