GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - With a new 'electrifying' running festival coming to Green Bay in 2025, it's time for northeast Wisconsin to lace up. Officials with the EPIC Event Center have announced that they have teamed up with Race Day Events to bring an event that pairs heart-pumping races with live entertainment to Green Bay. On Broadway, Inc. unveils phase I of Shipyard Waterfront Park, phase II slated for 2025 A fresh energy spin to typical running events is promised by the EPIC Event Center, a quickly growing venue in Green Bay for concerts and live events, with a high-spirited atmosphere for packet pickup and the post-race celebration promised. "We're thrilled to introduce EPIC Marathon & Running Festival to runners near and far,” said Mark Skogen, Owner of EPIC Event Center. "We're putting our own unique spin on this event—not only to create an exciting race day experience, but to give something special back to our community." The first-ever EPIC Marathon and Running Festival is set to hit the streets running on May 18. 2025. The festival will feature a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, half marathon relay, 5K, and a kids’ run.
