CSP asking for help with hitandrun crash in La Junta

(LA JUNTA, Colo.) — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is asking for information related to a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on Otero County Road 109 on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 29.
CSP said on Tuesday just after 8 p.m. troopers were called to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Otero County Road 109 near North Street, near La Junta. When troopers arrived, they found a man on the Arkansas River bridge with serious injuries.
Troopers' investigation indicated the man had been hit, possibly by a white flatbed pickup with side view mirror extensions. CSP said the driver of the truck didn't stop and had not reported their involvement with the crash. Troopers said the vehicle might have front-right, or right-side damage as a result of the crash.
