(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said shots were fired into several businesses in the overnight hours of Friday, Nov. 1. According to CSPD, on Friday at around 4:45 a.m. officers were called to the 2300 block of South Academy Boulevard near Chelton Road about shots fired. Police learned several businesses in the area were hit by gunfire. CSPD said one business had employees inside when it was hit by gunfire, but no one was shot. The suspect had left the area before police arrived and is unknown at this time.
