Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Friday morning to a crash involving multiple vehicles in the area of South Stewart and East Fifth Street. The crash happened at around 8:30 a.m. and involves as many as three, possibly four vehicles. Emergency crews on scene were checking for injuries. One person was being taken to the hospital via ground ambulance while three others have declined medical transport. Traffic was shut down around the area of the crash and is being re-directed. Motorists can expect delays.
