Nov 01, 2024

Increasing pressure going into Saturday will clear out skies. It's a sunny and cool Saturday with highs stuck in the 40s. Skies are clear overnight and it's chilly to start Sunday, but expect a seasonal finish to the third day of October with highs in the middle 50s.
Our next system will be a warm front that works in from the southwest. The first signs of a change will be increased cloud coverage Sunday night and eventually rain showers Monday. We are still in the upper 50s for highs, but once the front passes overhead, we are in the warm sector and get temperatures climbing even higher. Models have us in the 50s for lows and 70s for highs on Election Day Tuesday. There will be a chance or rain, but we probably avoid the showers around Rochester. Expect the trailing cold front to arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday with colder air behind that.
