BURLINGTON, N.C.(WGHP) — The Burlington Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash involving "serious injury." At 6:22 a.m. on Friday, officers came to the area of O'Neal Street and Edgewood Avenue in Burlington after getting a report of a crash involving a motorcycle that resulted in serious injury. 1 dead after series of crashes on Interstate 40 in Greensboro O'Neal Street is closed in the area of Edgewood Avenue as a result of the crash investigation. Traffic is being redirected towards South Church Street. There is not currently an estimated time for the road to reopen. There is no word as to what caused the crash at this time.
