WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Thursday marked the second warmest Halloween recorded in D.C. history, with temperatures hitting a high of 83 degrees. “We’re kind of regretting buying full suit-up costumes here,” said Todd Bosch, who was dressed in Baby Shark costumes with his wife and son. “It doesn’t feel like Halloween. I kind of miss the cold weather that’s for us." Still, the warm weather didn’t stop kids and their parents from trick-or-treating throughout the District. Which are the most popular Halloween candies in the DMV? “We love Halloween,” said Rose Hanlon, who dressed as Annabeth from the Percy Jackon series.  “I really, really want a lot of chocolate, I love chocolate.” “It’s fun, it’s great, they’re so adorable,” said Linda Real, who was handing out candy in Glover Park. Real said it’s a tradition to watch the kids parade down her street each Halloween. Still, she admitted she wished the temperature were more fall-like this year. “I’d rather it be cooler. I kind of don’t have that fall feeling right now,” she said.
