SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGPE/KTXL) - John Duarte and Adam Gray discussed reproduction rights during the California 13th congressional district debate on Thursday - and Gray accused Duarte of being "dishonest" on the issue of abortion.
Duarte is running against Gray to represent California's 13th congressional district and both candidates were asked if they would vote on codifying Roe v. Wade.

Duarte, who describes himself as pro-choice and believes that the choice of abortion should be between a woman and her physician, stated that if a vote would come into Congress to codify Roe v. Wade he would have to "look at it" before voting.
Gray accused of Duarte being "dishonest" after he described himself as pro-choice - but did not make it clear whether or not he would codify Roe v. Wade.
"Pro-choice means that a woman gets to choose her own reproductive health care, regardless of what state she lives in or where she is or if she might have a miscarriage or a medical emergency," said Gray.
Gray was asked if he would support any limits on abortion. Gray says "a doctor and a woman would make the reproductive health choices" and did not specify a limit.
The debate was hosted in Sacramento, California and was moderated by CBS47's Brian Dorman and FOX40's Nikki Laurenzo.
