Rollerblader struck by vehicle in Visalia, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A rollerblader was struck by a vehicle in Visalia Thursday night, officers say.
According to the Visalia Police Department, officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian just before 8:30 p.m. near Westbound Walnut Avenue at County Center.
Once on scene, officers say they discovered an adult rollerblader had been hit. The victim's condition has not yet been released, but updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
Westbound Walnut Avenue at County Center is currently closed to traffic. Pedestrians and drivers are asked to avoid the area while law enforcement investigates the scene.
