SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGPE/KTXL) - During the debate on Thursday between Adam Gray and John Duarte, Gray accused Duarte of not even living in the district he was representing in Congress. Adam Gray stated that John Duarte, who currently represents and is campaigning to continue representing California's 13th congressional district, instead lives in California's 5th congressional district, represented in Congress by Rep. Tom McClintock. "They've said silly things like, I'm not from this district. I'm the only candidate who actually lives in this district," said Gray. "John actually lives in Tom McClintock's congressional district." John Duarte was given the opportunity to respond to the accusation but did not explicitly say it was untrue. "I was born here in the Central Valley," said Duarte. "I raised my family here in the Central Valley. I've done business up and down the Central Valley and I represent a district here in the Central Valley. I'm a Central Valley native and I'm proud to represent the 13th Congressional District." The debate was hosted in Sacramento, California and was moderated by CBS47's Brian Dorman and FOX40's Nikki Laurenzo.
