FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Eight dogs have died following a fire in Fresno County on Thursday morning, Cal Fire said.
Cal Fire, along with the Kingsburg Fire Department, the Selma Fire Department, and other agencies responded to a residential fire in Fresno County on Thursday morning.
The first fire crews that arrived at the scene reported an RV fully engulfed in flames. According to Cal Fire, crews were able to contain the fire, but eight of the 10 dogs living on the property did not survive the flames. Two people were also displaced.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
