Veterans of the Game Thread know how we do things around here, but for all you newbies we have a few rules. Our community guidelines apply and basically say be cool, no personal attacks, don’t troll and don’t swear too much. We saw last night what happens when a young team that’s just figuring out how basketball together meets one of the best teams in the league, and it wasn’t pretty. Tonight, the Spurs face the Jazz, a team that’s at the bottom of most statistical categories in the NBA, so they should have a better chance of competing tonight. After Wednesday’s trick, tonight could be a treat, but with the Spurs on the road playing against a rested Jazz, who last played on Tuesday night at home to the Sacramento Kings, a 113-96 loss. It the Spurs aren’t prepared to play hard tonight, it might be Trick or Trick tonight, which would be hard to take for fans that are expecting this team to take off quickly. It’ll be interesting to see if Pop decides not to play [Chris Paul|VictorWembanyama] because they’re too [old|young] to play games on two consecutive nights. It’s going to be a spooky night in Salt Lake City, but if the Spurs are have enough candy, they’ll keep the Jazz at bay. Game Prediction: Victor Wembanyama will go Trick or Treating before the game, but many houses will refuse to give him candy because he’s too tall for Trick or Treating.
