(COLORADO SPRINGS) — You might not think of stopping by a retirement home on your Halloween night trick-or-treating itinerary, but the experience can be a treat for the young and the young-at-heart. The Living Center at Sunny Vista welcomed trick-or-treaters to snag some candy from residents of the home, who love to see the kids in their costumes and spread the Halloween spirit. "But they've done this for so many years, as they were growing up, seeing their grandkids do trick-or-treat. So we rather bring the people to them." The Living Center at Sunny Vista was one of many retirement communities in Colorado Springs that also gave out candy to trick-or-treaters.
