BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A pedestrian died after being struck multiple times by vehicles travelling westbound on the Westside Parkway Halloween night, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Page. On Thursday, CHP responded to reports of a person down in the roadway near Allen Road in westbound lanes of the Westside Parkway at about 6:40 p.m. The person was pronounced deceased by medical staff on scene. Officers have temporarily closed three lanes in the westbound lane of travel, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Page.
