WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A woman was carjacked in a Safeway parking garage on Wednesday evening by a suspect who had a young child with them, according to photos from D.C. police. The Metropolitan Police Department's (MPD) report on the incident says the woman was approached by two suspects shortly before 6:30 p.m. in a Safeway parking garage in the 400 block of 14th Street SE. The woman said she got out of her white Audi Q7 and went to retrieve her bags when she was approached. One of the suspects pointed a silver handgun at her and told her to "give up the keys."
