ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — As of this writing, Rochester's temperature has climbed to (at least) 77°, making today Rochester's warmest Halloween since 1971. We hit 80° that year, which has stood as the record for warmest Halloween since. It's highly unlikely that record will fall given our time of day & the reality clouds are slowly working their way overhead. A cold front will push through later tonight, ushering in a line of showers and bringing an end to this late October "heat wave". Temperatures tomorrow will barely break 50° into the afternoon with windy conditions making it feel more like the 40s all day. That cooler air sticks around through the weekend before another big warmup again next week.
