Two people scam man out of $20,000 over fake Geek Squad accounts, troopers say

German Flats, N.Y. — Two men were arrested and charged Friday for scamming a Herkimer County man and telling him he had several fraudulent Geek Squad accounts, troopers said.Chengfeng Li, 53, of Oakland Gardens and Tao Liu, 53, of New York City, were charged with third-degree attempted grand larceny, said Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the state police.
