Xóm, Bad Chancla, and More by EverOut Staff During the twice-yearly Seattle Restaurant Week, which runs from October 27-November 9 this fall, a slew of participating restaurants, bars, cafes, food trucks, caterers, and pop-ups across Seattle serve up to two special menus for $20, $35, $50, and $65 for lunch and/or dinner. Over 200 restaurants are participating, so it can be daunting to figure out where you want to eat first. To narrow it down, we've rounded up this list of restaurants worth trying so you can make the most of this event. For more ideas, check out our food and drink guide. Bad ChanclaJosé Garzón, whose name you might recognize from his eponymous Latinx street food spot Garzón, describes his Capitol Hill takeout kitchen Bad Chancla as a "love letter to millennial immigrants and first gen Latinx Americans." The pint-sized spot's Restaurant Week menu includes an option for the sandwich of your choice ("fake ass Cuban," mechada beef sando, huevos con weenies quesadilla, egg and cheese breakfast sando, or ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sando) along with a side (chips or rice and beans) and a beverage (agua fresca or soft drinks) for $20. Alternatively, opt for a rice bowl with your choice of protein (pollo guisado, ropa vieja, ground beef picadillo, or vegan picadillo) and a beverage, also for $20. Note: Bad Chancla conveniently shares a building with the local dispensary The Reef. I'm not necessarily saying you should get stoned for this meal...but I'm not not saying it, either.Capitol Hill
