ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With the 2024 election right around the corner, voters are reminded that you are not only voting for candidates, but on ballots are General Obligation (GO) Bonds. These GO Bonds provide additional funding for local projects. The remaining $700,000 would go towards renovations for 75 units of senior housing in the South Valley. "They're really old units. They were built in the 70's and 80's. It's getting them up to par where they should be nowadays," Bernalillo County Housing Director Amanda Colburn said. Funding for GO Bonds comes from federal and state grants.
