INDIANAPOLIS -- Out of the 200,000 people expected for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour at Lucas Oil Stadium, just a fraction of them live in the Hoosier state. According to ticket data, 81% of ticket holders for Swift's three nights in the Circle City live outside of Indiana. 89% live outside of the Indy metro. IMPD chief speaks on safety concerns for Taylor Swift concert This has left some die-hard Taylor Swift fans outside Lucas Oil Stadium with no way to get in. Indy local Lindsay Perrin was in this boat. ”I've been to Paris, I've been all over the United States," Perrin said. In total, she's been to six Eras Tour shows. When she didn't get tickets in the madness of the initial TicketMaster drop she was searching for any way to get within earshot of the popstar. ”I decided to just get onto Lucas Oil's website and see if there was a way to apply, because I was so desperate for tickets," Perrin said. "And sure enough, they let me apply. I applied on a Friday and I had an interview on Monday." That's right. Perrin said she got a job at Lucas Oil Stadium to ensure she'll at least be able to hear the concert. She's not sure of her exact duties yet. "An usher, or a ticket taker," she said. "It's going to be my first shift, so we’ll see where they place me." Perrin said she is scheduled to work all three nights of the Eras Tour. ”I just hope I can catch some of it," Perrin said. "Be an usher, something so I'm in the bowl and can actually see what's going on." Thousands of Taylor Swift fans head to convention center for official merch Perrin said she will take her job very seriously and will be happy just to hear the concert. ”There's nothing stopping me," she said. No matter what happens, Perrin said she is one proud Hoosier. ”Out of all of the cities that I have been to, I think Indy has done the best job of preparing for Taylor Swift. With the JW Marriott, the car," said Perrin, referencing the custom Taylor Swift IndyCar at the Indiana Convention Center. "Everything we have to offer here is just so awesome."
