Wisconsin trucking company to permanently close, laying off 64 employees

MEDFORD, Wis. (WFRV) – Wisconsin-based J. Bauer Trucking, Inc. has announced plans to permanently close its operations at the end of 2024, resulting in the loss of 64 jobs.
In a Worker Adjustment and Retention Notification (WARN) letter sent to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, J. Bauer Trucking confirmed that the transportation business, located at W5141 State Highway 64 in Medford, will cease operations on December 31, 2024.
