BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The East Baton Rouge Parish School System announced the district's 2024-2025 Students of the Year during a special ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at McKinley Middle Academic Magnet School of Visual and Performing Arts. Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome was the guest speaker. The program also featured Superintendent LaMont Cole and Deputy Superintendent Adam Smith, according to a news release. "These exceptional young leaders have set the bar high with their academic excellence and commitment to their communities," said Cole. "We are incredibly proud of them and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future." Check out who took home the honors of Students of the Year below, according to a news release.
