BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Police are searching for three suspects in an assault of an elderly man in a Bakersfield restaurant parking lot last week. Police said an elderly man was assaulted in the parking lot of Honey, I'm Home on Auburn Street on Oct. 25 at around 5 a.m. The suspects then tried to steal an employee's purse who tried to help the elderly victim, according to a statement. The suspects fled westbound towards Columbus Street, according to police. Sugardaddy’s Women’s Boutique announces closure The three suspects are described by police as one female teenager around 5 feet tall, with long, brown hair and a slim build. A second suspect was described as a male juvenile, possibly related to the teenage girl. A third suspect was only described by police as a male. The police department did not release images of the suspects from the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective C.
