BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Downtown Business Association is inviting you to participate in an "Art Heist" at First Friday. DBA's inaugural Art Heist doesn't mean you can walk in and take whatever art piece's catch your eye. Instead, 31 downtown businesses will be transformed into individual art galleries showcasing over 100 Kern artists work, according to DBA Art Heist Chair Carri Bling. Kern County Museum’s ‘Safe Halloween’ event takes the stress out of trick-or-treating While none of the art being featured will be free, admission to view the galleries is. This is a free all ages event, though some venues will be 21+ and older. Eva's at the Bakersfield Fox Theater will be featuring music from DJ Krees and artwork by Booby Holland, Shirley Wessig, Alex G, Jesse Meza, Tonay Hill and Adam Kriewaldt.
