BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- An 18-year-old man and a male juvenile were arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in Southeast Bakersfield that happened on Sunday. Police say Lance Burnett, 18, and a male juvenile were arrested on suspicion of murder and other associated charges on Wednesday. Accused ‘Toucan’ building arsonist gets trial date Police were dispatched to the area of South Washington Street and East Belle Terrace around 4:45 p.m. for the report of an assault. Upon officer arrival a man was found suffering gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
